Necklace

This isn't woodwork, but it's on the top of my pile for favorite pieces! I made this when I barely even did woodwork yet...in my grade 12 year of high school. My mom had a beautiful ring with a blue saphire and diamonds on either side. One of these diamonds was missing so she told me I could make something with it if I wanted... so I did. I designed this Sterling Silver piece to fit onto the shape of my clavical bone...it snuggles right into every curve, and is such an overwhleming joy to wear. It continues to give me a form of power and inspiration that is undescribable...I absolutely love this necklace! For that reason this piece was also part of the inspiration behind my Ebony and Ivory Woodworks logo (design by Dave Nicholson - Highlander Tattoo).
This piece resides with me and will continue to do so until my death... and then my sister can finally have it! (1997)
